At this point you can’t say that Anonymous is a thing. The concept had a fatal flaw in that anyone can call themselves Anonymous and subvert the efforts of others operating under that banner. As soon as the concept was launched US intel agencies began investigating it and actively subverting it. And they largely succeeded. Not in eliminating hackers, which isn’t remotely possible, but in arresting many of those involved in Anonymous and in proving that the concept made no sense in the first place.
So really you should be asking more generally about hacker activity. A good place to find recent information obtained from hacking and whistle-blowing is Cryptome.

Thank you. Are there still people occupying, standing or doing good noteworthy or news worthy things in the name of humanity?
Honestly, your Google works the same as mine. I recommend turning to Twitter and following people involved in activism and political causes.
