Too many Americans are too ignorant

Love the country, can’t stand the people. Well, lots of ’em. No country in the world has people who are so privileged and ignorant at the same time. We consume everything but knowledge and let corporations dictate our lives. From sanctimonious lefties to ‘independent’ conservatives, people in this country are just way too disconnected from the consequences of their actions. Left and right both lapping up corporate propaganda that lets them feel like they care without doing anything about it. Or maybe doing something ineffective that’s been fed to them through corporate channels.

We need mandatory adult education. The survival of the planet may depend on it as our way of life is setting a self-destructive example for the rest of the world. If everyone lived like this humanity would be doomed. Maybe it is.
